Training dates, times and location
Online learning from: Friday 24th May 2024 (online, self paced). Expect to take around 3-4 hours study for the pre-course learning. In-person dates: Friday 7th – Sunday 9th June 2024 Times: 9:45am – 5pm each day Location: London SE1 (London Bridge/Elephant and Castle train stations) Maximum attendees: 12 Tutor: Tina Glynn Online learning continues for 12 months from enrolment and includes second certification on completion
Attendee pre-requisites
Attendees must be professionally qualified in a full body therapy ie massage, physiotherapy, osteopathy, lymphatic therapy, acupuncture, Bowen therapy etc. minimum level 3. Also suitable for people who work in a healthcare setting where scar massage will be a beneficial skill within your healthcare role (such as Occupational Therapy or Nurse Specialist) At least one year’s experience in your professional therapy is required No previous knowledge or experience of scars or scar therapy is needed, but oncology massage or other oncology training or experience suitable for your therapy background will compliment this course Attendees booking must hold up-to-date professional insurance (suitable for their background)
