Attendee pre-requisites
Attendees must be professionally qualified in a full body therapy ie massage, physiotherapy, osteopathy, lymphatic therapy, acupuncture, Bowen therapy etc. minimum level 3. Also suitable for people who work in a healthcare setting where scar massage will be a beneficial skill within your healthcare role (such as women’s health specialists and doulas certified and insured to work with women with hands-on treatment) At least one year’s experience in your professional therapy is required No previous knowledge or experience of scars or scar therapy is needed. Attendees who have attended other scar therapy training should find this course provides some alternative tools to compliment any existing skills Attendees booking must hold up-to-date professional insurance (suitable for their background)
