Scar Therapy Practitioner

1. Online pre-course learning available anytime from: Monday 3rd March 2025 (self-paced theory)
2. Online Live Zoom: Not included for this course (due to tutor travelling UK-Australia)
3. In-person Brisbane:  Thursday 22nd – Friday 24th May 9am – 5:30pm each day
4. Case study treatments: Attendees must complete two treatments with two different clients (total 4 treatments) between 24th May and 23rd June. Allow 90 minutes per treatment to include paperwork.
5. Case study submission: Monday 23rd June. Case studies should be submitted online to your tutor.
6. Online Live Zoom: Thursday 3rd July 7pm-8:30pm AEST (optional)

If you are unable to attend the live Zoom dates shown, this is non-essential and the Zoom lesson is optional.

Online resources are available for 12 months from enrolment with an option to extend.

Certification: A pdf certification is issued on review of your case studies. This should be on or before 3rd July 2025.

• Attendees must be professionally qualified in a body therapy ie massage, physiotherapy, osteopathy, lymphatic therapy, acupuncture, minimum level 3. This course may be suitable for people who work in a healthcare setting where scar massage will be a skill you can use within your healthcare role (such as Occupational Therapy or Nurse Specialist).
• At least one year experience in therapy is required.
• An oncology massage qualification is recommended for massage therapists.
• Attendees booking must have professional insurance (suitable for their background).
