Oncology Scar Specialist

1. Online pre-course learning available anytime from: Monday 3rd March 2025 (self-paced theory)
2. Online Live Zoom: Not included for this course (due to tutor travelling UK-Australia)
3. In-person Perth:  Monday 19th and Tuesday 20th May 9:30am – 5:30pm each day
4. Case study treatments: Attendees must complete two treatments with two different clients (total 4 treatments) between 20th May-20 June. Allow 90 minutes per treatment to include paperwork.
5. Case study submission: Monday 23rd June. Case studies should be submitted online to your tutor.
6. Online Live Zoom: Thursday 26th June 7pm-8:30pm AEWST (optional)

If you are unable to attend the live Zoom dates shown, this is non-essential and the Zoom lesson is optional.

Online resources are available for 12 months from enrolment with an option to extend.

Certification: A pdf certification is issued on review of your case studies. This should be on or before Friday 27th June 2025.

• Attendees must be professionally qualified in a full body therapy ie massage, physiotherapy, osteopathy, lymphatic therapy, acupuncture, Bowen therapy etc. minimum level 3. This course may be suitable for people who work in a healthcare setting where scar massage will be a skill you can use within your healthcare role (such as Occupational Therapy or Nurse Specialist) check with your employer that you will be permitted to use this within your role before booking.
• At least one year’s experience in your professional therapy is required.
• An oncology massage qualification is recommended for massage therapists.
• Attendees booking must hold up-to-date professional insurance (suitable for their background).
