Muna Gulay, Middle East

Muna Gulay (BSc, HCPC, MCSP) is a Chartered Physiotherapist with a BSc in Physiotherapy and over 18 years of clinical experience, having worked in the profession since 2007. She is fully registered with the HCPC and a Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP). Her clinical work spans Musculoskeletal and Orthopaedic Physiotherapy, with a particular focus on pre- and post-operative rehabilitation following major surgeries and complex injuries.

Her clinical focus on Caesarean scar therapy grew from recognising how unmanaged scars can significantly limit recovery. Now an expert Caesarean Scar Specialist, she integrates evidence-informed scar management into her daily clinical practice to optimise movement, reduce pain, and improve long-term outcomes for effective scar management.

She runs a private physiotherapy clinic in Oxfordshire, where she treats a wide range of patients with complex rehabilitation needs. Alongside her clinical practice, she is committed to sharing her knowledge with fellow therapists, particularly across the Middle East, by teaching evidence-informed, safe scar therapy techniques. Her goal is to help clinicians improve long-term outcomes for patients recovering from surgery or significant injury, ensuring scar management becomes an integral part of rehabilitation.
