Vickie Maher has twenty years’ experience in Sport and Remedial Massage, but she has been specialising in Scar Therapy since 2018.  She has a successful private practice in Brentwood, Essex. Vickie has completed multiple Sharon Wheeler’s ScarWork courses and also Emma Holly’s RESTORE certification courses. She is particularly passionate about women’s health, especially post c-section and hysterectomy recovery. Vickie has successfully completed an Award in Education and Training for adults and further training in Myofascial Release. She first started assisting in the classroom in 2021, and has completed over 80 hours in the classroom with Emma. With an open and friendly teaching style, she has a natural ability to share her skills and knowledge, with clear explanations on techniques or theory questions. She donated her time to support the Invictus Athletes during their pre-event training in Lea Valley Centre, offering a combination of scar therapy, sports massage, and taping.
