Tina Glynn

Tina Glynn is a Registered Nurse with thirty years experience in Oncology and Palliative Care Nursing, having worked at the Royal Marsden, Clatterbridge Centre for Oncology, St George’s, London and Breast Cancer Haven, a national charity. She now runs a successful private practice in Dorking, Surrey, where clients seek out her specialist skills.

Early on, Tina developed an interest in additional mechanisms that can help patients recover from the impact of diagnosis and side effects of cancer treatment. During the 1990’s Tina qualified in Massage and Aromatherapy, and since then has developed and led teams delivering integrated cancer care both in the hospital setting and in the voluntary sector. Tina further honed her skills whilst at Breast Cancer Haven, adding Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Scar Therapy to her qualifications and has been providing these treatments since 2015. Tina was fortunate to train with the late Willie Fourie and met Emma when she trained with her in ScarWork, and later the RESTORE programme. Tina has been involved in training and teaching throughout her nursing career including the graduate nurse pathway. Tina is passionate about sharing knowledge and skills in order to broaden the availability of vital scar therapy to those who need it. Her teaching style is relaxed, supportive and playful.
