Sarah Clark has been a practising holistic therapist for 25 years. She also started her teaching career with the local college 23 years ago and then went on to develop her own reflexology diploma course. In 2003 following the loss of her husband to cancer Sarah went to the Bristol Cancer centre and trained in holistic cancer care. She then opened her clinic to all cancer patients and their carers free of charge. This was the beginning of The Old Mill Foundation, the charity Sarah founded. The Charity now has centres across South and South West Wales. Plus, a charity shop and a health shop. During this time Sarah has delivered a Cancer Oncology course yearly to volunteers and anyone else who would like to participate.
Sarah is also trained in the Dr. Vodder method of Manual Lymphatic Drainage with Combined Decongestive Therapy and continues to attend CPD courses with the local NHS Lymphatic School. Sarah began her scar therapy journey alongside her oncology training but went on to further her education with Emma Holly in 2018. Many volunteers at The Old Mill Foundation also started their scar tissue journey in 2018 and the results they have achieved is incredible. Sarah has a passion for teaching and enjoys passing on her years of experience in cancer care to others.
