Amy Poole is a postnatal therapist, graduating from St Mary’s University with BSc Hons Sport Rehabilitation. Amy went straight into private practice incorporating sports and remedial massage, Pilates and rehabilitation. Alongside this, she taught sports massage at St Mary’s university and guest lectured on the foundation sports program. Midway through her Masters degree, her first pregnancy inspired a change in career focus which saw Amy complete several ante-natal specific qualifications. She completed the Sharon Wheeler ScarWork certification taught by Emma Holly which inspired a significant shift in her work and returned and updated her training with Restore Therapy on other courses.

Amy runs a successful private practice in Bristol in a women’s health clinic. Here she predominantly treats caesarean sections and hysterectomy scars, as well as incorporating diastasis and general post-natal rehabilitation. Amy takes a relaxed yet structured and thorough approach to both her personal work and teaching and is thrilled to be sharing scar therapy skills to help more women after abdominal birth.
