We are delighted to celebrate the achievements of Teresa Barron, one of our dedicated Restore Scar Therapy students, who recently shared her expertise at the Essence of Clinical Aromatherapy 2025 (ECA) conference in Bath.
Her talk, “The Power Couple – Essential Oils and Restore Scar Therapy to Enhance Recovery”, highlighted how an integrative, client-centred approach can make a profound difference in the lives of people living with the long-term effects of surgery, trauma, or chronic illness.
As a nurse and aromatherapist with over 30 years of experience, Teresa brings Restore Therapy into her clinical practice at CancerCare in North Lancashire and South Lakeland. She supports individuals affected by cancer, bereavement, and long-term conditions with compassionate, tailored care.
In her presentation, she beautifully captured the essence of Restore Scar Therapy—gentle, non-invasive work that supports both physical healing and emotional wellbeing.
Teresa shared powerful case studies of clients recovering from complex surgeries, breast cancer, and abdominal trauma—some with scars many decades old. Each story showed how scar therapy can:
